
As part of its immediate response to the Beirut Blast, HWB took part in the cleaning of Beirut streets and homes, a few days later we collaborated with Feed Beirut initiative to distribute home-cooked meals to 75 elderly people whose homes were affected by the blast and who could not make it to the tents where food was being offered.

HWB helped distribute 12 million Lebanese pounds to families living in the area, to help them get by until they can start fixing and renovating their homes

HWB collaborated with Life Coach Ola H. Serhan on the initiative “Beirut Healing Intensive” where 50 hours of trauma relief were offered to people registering on first come first served basis over two days in October 2020
Individual initiatives by HWB helped to renovate 10 homes and reunite 10 families under the same roof.

300 food supplies boxes, provided by the Embassy of the UAE in Lebanon, were distributed over two batches through HWB volunteers to people in need in December 2020.

An event entitled “Christmas without Borders” was organized in collaboration with Bouffon Beirut, at Restos St. Nicolas in Ashrafieh, for 100 children living in Beirut. The event included entertainment activities and gifts for the children.

HWB launched a new project called the Family relief fund, through which families in need receive monthly, food and medicine vouchers.
